It's hard to believe but little miss Hadly Lou is already 3 months (15 weeks). Sometimes I just want the sleepless nights part to be over with. Then I look back at newborn pictuers and I realize how fast she has grown! I already miss when she was a tiny baby. She is getting such a personality and hitting some of those developmental milestones.
This was in the car about 3 days ago and she was pretty fussy. She is to the point now where she may or may not fall asleep in the car. If she does it's not for more then an hour and the conditions have to be just right. This particular day that included holding my hand. It was very sweet and a moment I won't be forgetting any time soon.
I love these pictures because it shows the progression of her smile. She has such a cute little face I love each picture for it's uniqueness. Sorry about the blurry parts but she has fast moving arms and our iphone cameras are not that good.
Phase one of smile
Phase 2 of smile
Phase 3 of smile
Final phase of smile includes the tongue being exposed.
In looking at Hadly's newborn pictures I realize just how much hair she has lost! She is constantly turning her head in her sleep and she's also lost a little up top :) We joke and say she looks like a monk!
These are from today (2/20/12)
I took this to show just how big she is getting! I think she is pretty tall for her age.
You can tell from the slight ring around her mouth that this is first thing in the morning. I have been getting Hadly to sleep through the night (kind of). She is in her bassinet next to me and when I heard her stir I put the binkie in. She will go from 10pm (ish) to 7am! When we get her up first thing in the morning she is suuuuuper smiley!
her silly morning face!
she really smiles a lot now, so many of these pictures are of her smiling :)
she has also discovered her tongue and how to create bubbles in her mouth and then spit then out. So essentially she has started drooling.
While visiting my friend this last weekend she taught me how to make these fabric flowers. They turned out super cute and they were very easy. I ended up making Hadly, myself, my mom, and my sister some.
I know her hair looks red in this pictures but it's not, it's just the lighting.
Hadly sporting her new headband!
These flowers are on a clip and can be removed or switched with any other headband.
Her third headband
This is what happens when mommy takes a nap and Hadly has play time with daddy :)
I love that toothless smile
I love this onsie, if you can't see it, it says "Grandma and Grandpa LOVE ME!"
such a pleasant smile
Love this sleepy face
Super super duper smile
So she gets these flakey weird things on her scalp, probably the beginning of cradle cap. I was told about using olive oil and then using a brush/comb to get the flakes off. So we tried it and gave her a tiny 12 haired mohawk, lol
Hadly and her papa
I love these little jeans on her, a Christmas gift from our friend Susan.
Hmmm this is probably my new favorite picture of them.
So she has figured out how to work that frown. Oh yeah, she knows how to melt your heart. She's got the frown and real tears down pat.
Do you remember those books "where's waldo?" Where this pictures is called "where's Hadly?"
she doesn't even fit on the couch any more! She's too long!
So I was rocking her to sleep the other day and I thought she was asleep, she hadn't moved in quite a while. I looked down and this is what I see, haha.
Hadly and her mama
Hadly and I go on walks sometimes and this was one of those days. She's wearing a hat I made for her.
The caption for this picture is "I'm thinking....I'm thinking...."
Look at that tuft of hair.
Hadly and her mama
So I hear alllllll the time how much she looks like her daddy. Which is fine because they are both cute. But when you give birth to this little baby and she is so cute, you want her to at least look a LITTLE like you! So as she's been getting older she is looking a little more like me. These pictures were the first ones that I could actually notice her similarity to myself.
Sleepy smiley :)
She is growing so much and has started doing so many fun things. She will find Krys and I in a room when we are talking to her. We also found out today that she will absolutely watch the tv if it's on and she is facing it. I noticed today that was happening and turned her so she couldn't see it. She looked me in the eye, made a big old frowny face, and then cried. She also started reaching for toys. She also smiles all the time ( as you can see from the pictures) and she has started laughing/giggling. She has started loving her bath and splashing. She loves to talk, sometimes just a little and sometimes it's a loud squeal.
