All dressed up and no where to go

We had big plans today, get dressed, lots of smiles and taking family pictures.  We had a photographer all lined up and ready to go.  However when we arrived to take the pictures and waiting 30 minutes the photographer still wasn't there!  Some of you may know how difficult it is to get everyone ready and everything perfect for these pictures that will immortalize this moment in time.  Needless to say I was beyond frustrated when the photographer texted that she mistakenly thought our appointment was for the following day.  At that point there was nothing left to do then to take a few snap shots ourselves and reschedule for another day.  So here is my family

5 months

 I can't emphasize enough how fast this little baby girl is growing!  I can't believe she is almost 6 months already!  She is such a joy to have around and such a sweet spirit.  She has recently discovered her voice and likes to squeal, scream, and talk.  She is also currently teething which means whining and general uncomfortableness.  She was on a pretty regular schedule for a little while but the teething, new found voice, and swaddle weaning has temporarily disturbed that.  All her muscles are strengthening which means she is starting to wiggle around and get her move on!  I have to be careful at night that she doesn't end up with her head up against the bars of her crib.  She is close to rolling over which means no more swaddle.  She is also doing very well with her solid foods.  She has had sweet potato, avocado, butternut squash, acorn squash, peas, banana, pear, apple, peach, rice cereal, and oatmeal.  We love being her parents and love love love love our little baby girl.  Here are some pictures!  enjoy!

 March 21st marked our 3 year wedding anniversary.  It seems like its been longer because each year has held at least one big event with the wedding, sealing, and hadly's birth.  We celebrated by having a sitter watch hadly (for the first time ever) while we watched "Hunger Games".

 She knows her name now and will turn to look at you when you call it

 She also gets very distracted while nursing.  She stops and then smiles up at me like this...hard not to smile back but she has started playing!

I recently went back to my old work to celebrate my boss's birthday.  I made this golf cake for him.

 She also LOVE LOVE LOVES to look at herself in the mirror or camera.  It's great for taking pictures and for facetime!

 The other day it got up to like 75 degrees so I put her in this cute little outfit to keep her cool.  Also I did it because who knows if she'll ever be able to wear it again before growing out of it!
